Roast Gammon


Ingredients (to serve 10 children)

750g unsmoked gammon ham (or meat free ham slices)

1kg small new potatoes

250g carrots, chopped

250g peas or other seasonal vegetables



  1. Place the ham in the slow cooker with 1-2 cups of water
  2. Cook on high for 4 hours
  3. Cook the potatoes in simmering water for 30 minutes, or until a knife can cut through easily
  4. Remove the ham and allow to stand for at least 30 minutes to cool before carving
  5. Boil or steam the vegetables to taste
