Pasta Bake

Allergens: celery, gluten, milk

 

Ingredients (to serve 10 children)

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves of garlic

1 pepper, sliced

1 courgette, sliced

1 sweet potato or carrot

1kg passata

1 vegetable stock cube (may contain celery), made up with 500ml boiling water

300g cooked lentils, drained

500g wholewheat penne pasta (contains wheat)

250g mature cheddar cheese (contains milk)

 

 

Method

  1. Place all the vegetables in the slow cooker with the stock and cook on low for 4 hours
  2. Blend the vegetable sauce with a stick blender
  3. Prepare pasta according to packet instructions
  4. Add sauce to pasta
  5. Add cheese to taste
