Allergens: milk

 

Ingredients (to serve 10 children)

10 baking potatoes

830g/ 2 tins baked beans, reduced salt & sugar

650g / 2 tins sweetcorn in water, drained

100g butter or margarine (optional, contains milk)

 

Method

  1. Pierce the skin of the potatoes with a knife or fork
  2. Place on a baking tray and bake at 200ºC for 1.10 hours
  3. If cooking more than 10 potatoes, add 20ºC and 15 minutes cooking time per additional 10
  4. Drain the sweetcorn and serve in a bowl
  5. Warm the baked beans according to packet instructions

Butter and margarine should be served as a portion of 10g (1 teaspoon) if requested.  This is to limit the fat content of the meal and to meet the school food standards.
