Allergens: celery, gluten, milk

Ingredients (to serve 10 children)

600g lean (5%) beef mince (or micoprotein for vegetarian option)

1 onion, finely chopped

3 carrots

500ml beef stock (contains celery)

390g green lentils

1 tsp marmite (contains gluten)

1kg mashed potato (may contain milk)

500g brocoli

Gravy (may contain celery, gluten)



  1. Fry the mince until brown,  drain off any excess fat
  2. Add the onion and continue to cook until soft
  3. Pour into slow cooker with carrots, lentils, stock and marmite
  4. Cook for 4-5 hours on low
  5. Boil potatoes, drain and mash with margarine & milk
  6. Lay the meat in a baking dish and top with mashed potato
  7. Bake at 190º to 200ºC, until golden on top
  8. Cook vegetables and gravy according to taste
