Cheesy Pasta Bake

Allergens: fish, milk, wheat


Ingredients (to serve 10 children)

500g wholewheat pasta (contains wheat)

300g broccoli

300g salmon (fish)

300ml creme fraiche (contains milk)

100g half fat cheddar cheese (contains milk)

300g sweetcorn

300g cucumber


  1. Put a large saucepan of water on the hob to boil
  2. When boiling vigorously, add the pasta and continue to simmer for 8 minutes
  3. Support the children in cutting the stalks from the broccoli
  4. Add the broccoli to the pasta pan and cook for a further 5 minutes
  5. Support the children in grating the cheddar or hard cheese
  6. Stir the creme fraiche well to loosen it
  7. Drain the pasta and broccoli, mix in the salmon, creme fraiche, cheese and warm on the hob for a few more minutes
  8. Drain the sweetcorn and serve on a bowl
  9. Support the children in slicing the cucumber and serving in a separate bowl
